MILOJEVIĆ + WILDE is a collaborative architectural and urban design practice based in Brooklyn, New York. The studio operates across multiple scales of architecture and spatial planning, anchored by a focus on cultivating the social commons and fostering resilience within the built environment. Their individual and joint projects have been published and exhibited internationally. In addition to their design practice, Milojević and Wilde serve on the Board of Directors for VOGELFREI Media & Information, a New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to urban and peri-urban research.
Aleksa Milojević
Co-FounderAleksa Milojević is an architectural designer, researcher, and filmmaker based in New York, originally from Vienna. His work encompasses architecture, urban planning, and audio-visual curation, addressing urban conditions, spatial symbolism, and socio-cultural participation. Milojević completed his architectural studies at TU Vienna, the University of Applied Arts Vienna under Kazuyo Sejima, and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO), before earning a master’s degree from Tongji University in Shanghai. He completed postgraduate master’s studies at the Yale School of Architecture, where he studied under Peter Eisenman and Frank Gehry. His design and audio-visual work has been featured in exhibitions and screenings at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Autostadt Wolfsburg, the Yale School of Architecture, and the Yale Center for Collaborative Arts and Media. He has practiced independently and collaboratively across Europe and the United States, working with Wolfgang Tschapeller in Vienna, MITarh in Belgrade, and Hart Howerton in New York City.
Matthew Wilde
Co-FounderMatthew W. Wilde is an architectural designer based in New York, originally from Scotland, operating at the intersection of the built environment, research, and exhibition-making. His practice examines how strategies of architectural reuse and densification bolster urban resilience and foster shared spaces within communities in social and ecological transition. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Dundee, Wilde earned a master's degree from the Yale School of Architecture. His creative work has been showcased at venues including the 2023 Venice Biennale, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, and Autostadt Wolfsburg. He has practiced independently and in collaboration with architecture firms across Ireland and the United States, including O'Donnell + Tuomey in Dublin and Steven Harris Architects in New York City.
